Christopher Hardwick is a New York native from Long Island and is formally trained in acting, dancing & street walking. He has appeared in numerous TV & Films roles and is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Christopher aka “Emcee ChristoFear” started attending Burningman in 2000 after seeing a short film at Anthology Film Archives. 2023 marked his 19th year attending. (Yes I got stuck in the mud). He is the co-founder of KOSTUME KULT- a theatrical, fun & farsical group of individuals who take costuming very seriously but most times not. Our mission is “to costume the Playa one runway walk at a time”. We happily give away 1,000 costumes a day at Burningman. We receive donations throughout the year and gift them in Black Rock City. Hardwick has a Masters degree in Fine Arts. He has attended NYU & the Strasberg Institute. MC Christopher has hosted over 500 live events including The Pride March & The Village Halloween Parade, Bette Midlers Hulaween Ball and so much more. He is also a brilliant motivational speaker & can really light up a room and make a party unforgettable.
