Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees have extended their “Miseducation Anniversary Tour” with a 21-date run slated to launch in August.
The new North American leg will kick off Aug. 9 in Tampa, Florida, at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and run through Sept. 21 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. The shows will feature co-headlining sets from Hill and the Fugees as they perform tracks from The Miseducation of Ms. Lauryn Hill , The Score, and more. YG Marley will provide support throughout the run.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale June 28 at 10 a.m. local time, while a pre-sale will open to Citi cardholders starting tomorrow, June 25. Full info is available via Live Nation.
Hill and the Fugees launched the “Miseducation Anniversary Tour” last year to coincide with the actual 25th anniversary of Hill’s landmark 1998 solo album. Prior to the tour, the Fugees reunited at the Roots Picnic in June 2023, marking the first time the trio — Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel — performed together since a 2021 one-off concert in New York City.
Last year’s tour, however, was ultimately hit with a handful of cancellations after Hill suffered vocal strain. She later took a break from the road altogether, explaining to fans, “In order to prevent any long-term negative effect on my voice and my body, I need to take time off to allow for real vocal recovery so that I can discontinue the medication completely.”
Hill has since returned to the road this year, playing a handful of shows in the Middle East, as well as Jamaica, Europe, Canada, and Las Vegas, In May, she and YG Marley performed on The Tonight Show, and the pair are set to take the stage again together at the BET Awards on June 30.
