Gretchen Wilson has sold her luxurious home in rural Tennessee, just months after listing it for sale — and she received more than her asking price.
The “Redneck Woman” singer listed her 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2,225-square-foot home for sale on May 31, asking $625,000. The property had multiple offers within days, and the sale went into contingency status on June 3.
Wilson sold the house for a final selling price of $630,000 in a deal that closed on July 11. That price breaks down to $283 per square foot and a monthly payment of $3,489.
The highlights of Wilson’s former residence include:
- High trayed ceilings.
- A primary suite with an attached bathroom and built-in closet shelves.
- Granite and tile finishes.
- A very large bonus room above the garage.
- A screened porch and a large covered porch at the back of the house.
Wilson has made some big moves in real estate over the past decade-plus. She sold her former rural estate in Wilson County, Tenn., in 2011.
