It’s been quite the interesting week for HGTV star, Christina Hall. Earlier this week, it was learned that they both filed for divorce from one another with Joshua filing first.
There is an interesting show plotted for release in 2025 on HGTV called The Flip Off, which was going to pair Christina and Joshua Hall and pit them against Hall’s ex-husband and his new wife, Tarek and Heather El Moussa, in a house flipping competition.
Christina + Joshua Hall Getting Divorced
All that seemed to be in question a few days ago when Joshua filed for divorce from Christina on July 8. Christina then also filed for a dissolution of marriage on Monday (July 15).
She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed their date of separation as July 7.
What’s the Future of HGTV’s The Flip Off?
How could the two be on a team and filming a TV show, if their divorce wound is still fresh?
The answer is: They won’t. Instead, according to ET, the show only recently started filming scenes “a few weeks ago” and the team behind the series is still “figuring out what the plan is moving forward” without her real estate agent husband, Joshua, in the picture.
The other thing that makes it apparent that this was not an amicable divorce, where they could work together closely. That is apparent because Joshua did the ole’ erase of everything Christina from his socials.
Joshua quietly removed mentions of Christina and her kids from his Instagram bio. He previously had the first initials of Christina’s three children listed on his profile while tagging her page.
The bio section of his Instagram page is now empty.
But, as the saying goes, “The show must go on.” And it will, sans Joshua Hall.
