Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were on the road to ending their relationship for the second time. But, a recent outing sparked some strong reconciliation rumors.
JLo and Ben Pack On PDA
The two were recently seen out together with their kids from previous relationships. And shockingly enough, the couple were seen packing on some serious PDA.
Specifically, Jennifer and Ben were reportedly kissing and holding hands, actually as if their divorce hadn’t just been filled.
As one of their first public moments since the filing, this was sure not the interaction the world was expecting.
It’s also important to note that during the same day out together, the two were also seen to be having an intense conversation.
Are They Back Together?
This unexpected moment of affection might have lead most to believe that the two have decided to stay together. But, apparently, it was just a big misunderstanding.
“[Lopez is] trying to be friendly with Ben,” a source shared after the public PDA. “They are still moving forward with the divorce though.”
So, despite the romance session, it seems as though they are both living the single life. Ben was recently rumored to be dating Kathleen Kennedy, but his spokesperson laid that theory to rest.
JLo was noticeably seen holding hands with Affleck’s best friend Matt Damon the other day. She hasn’t addressed the viral moment just yet.
Fans Are Over This Romance
From a happy reunion after over a decade apart, to this interesting divorce, it’s been a whirlwind. The back and forth of the couple either staying together or leaving each other has made people fed up with them.
In a Reddit thread, people have vented their frustration of their relationship timeline. Here are a few of the comments:
- “Has this whole thing been a PR relationship? I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster that I didn’t consent to be on.”
- “They are so…ugh. It would be less cringe if they weren’t dragging 5 kids through their nonsense.”
- “These two need to sign their divorce papers and get away from each other. This is not healthy for any of their children or themselves.”
If the divorce between them does become finalized, it won’t be either of their first. The split would mark Lopez’s fourth divorce and Affleck’s second.
Right now, there’s still a far ways to go until they can get it done and over with. They are still in the process of selling their multi-million dollar home, and so far, there’s been no takers.
