Lori Loughlin, Other Stars Missing From GAF Christmas Schedule

This week, Great American Family published their 2024 Great American Christmas movie schedule. However, Lori Loughlin and a couple of other actors who previously signed exclusive contacts with the network were nowhere in sight!

Here is what we know about these stars and where their fans may be seeing them this holiday season.

Lori Loughlin Is Not Part Of Great American Christmas

Great American Family has announced its 2024 Great American Christmas lineup. However, Lori Loughlin is nowhere to be found.

She is not starring in any of their holiday movies. Moreover, she is not even in the Brian Bird executive-produced A Little Women Christmas. This seemed like a natural opportunity to pair her up with the When Calls The Heart co-creator’s project.

In addition, her IMDb does not indicate that she has made any new movies. Her most recent role was in Curb Your Enthusiasm, where she was absolutely hysterical making fun of herself.

Could Lori Laughlin Be Returning To When Calls The Heart?

If Lori Loughlin is not making another Great American Family holiday movie, could that mean she is returning to When Calls The Heart?

    That is a good question.

Just over a year ago, Brian Bird started to get Hearties hopes up with the hint that they were “in talks” with the actress who portrayed Abigail Stanton until the College Admission Scandal.

However, time and again, Hallmark has said that there is nothing to that. But, there is no doubt that the cast of the series, as well as many Hearties, would love to see her return.

Right now, there is no indication that she is returning to Hallmark any time soon.

Is Jessica Lowndes Back With The Hallmark Channel?

In addition to Lori Loughlin, Jessica Lowndes was an early Great American Family star. She even signed an exclusive contract with them. Therefore, it is very surprising to see

Moreover, anyone who has been following the Mix Up In The Mediterranean star’s Instagram knows she has recently filmed more than one Christmas movie.

Most recently, Jessica has been filming a new movie with a dog that many on social media surmise is the Hallmark Christmas movie Happy Howlidays.

In addition, Jessica recently filmed a movie with Daniel Lissing in Winnipeg. This is a December Bride reunion. Directed by Robin Dunne, romcom fans assumed it was for Great American Family. However, it was not part of their official lineup.

However, Great American Family has a lot of open slots for acquisitions this holiday season. Could this movie be part of that lineup, or could this holiday movie end up on Lifetime or even Hallmark+?

That news about this movie should be forthcoming.

Susie Abromeit Is Filming Other Projects

Lastly, besides Lori Loughlin, another star that is missing from the Great American Family lineup is Susie Abromeit. She was one of the first to sign an exclusive contract and starred in the first original movie that the network ever aired, Much Ado About Christmas.

However, the former tennis star turned actress, podcaster, and animal advocate will not be in an upcoming holiday movie.

Lori Loughlin fans, are you going to miss a holiday season without one of her movies?
