Kenzie Petty has shared some amazing news with fans. The Survivor 46 alum is officially a first-time mom. She took to social media to announce the arrival of her little one over the weekend. Here’s what she revealed.
Survivor Alum Shares Best Thing She’s Ever Done
The Charlotte native took to Instagram over the weekend to share the big news with her followers. A clip showed Kenzie on the couch with her husband, Jackson Petty, and their new bundle of joy.
Jackson is holding the baby in the video and Kenzie is curled up with them. She takes the baby’s hand and gives it a sweet kiss. Then, she gives her hubby a peck on the cheek.
Over the video, she wrote, “Hard Baby Launch.” In the caption, she gave her followers more details about the little one and how she’s doing in postpartum.
She wrote, “Out of everything I’ve ever done, this is by far the best. I don’t have the words to fully encompass everything, but it was perfect. Our birth was beautiful, we are doing great in postpartum.”
The Survivor alum continued, “Everyone’s healthy and happy and he’s the most perfect thing I have ever seen. I’ll be soaking these snuggles in for the foreseeable future. This is everything I’ve ever dreamed of and so so so much more.”
Kenzie went on to thank for husband “for the baby and this life.” She also casually added that the baby’s name is Beau and he’s a Libra.
In an Instagram Story, the Survivor alum also offered thanks to her “squad” for helping make her “dreams a reality.”

Friends and well-wishers were quick to comment on the post.
“Aghhhhh so happy to see Beau out here looking so beautiful and healthy! So incredibly happy for you both! Sending all my love to you both!” one Instagram user commented. Another affectionately wrote, “So so happy for yall. Becoming a mom is the most powerful love you’ll experience. Overwhelming and rewarding all at once.”
The Survivor 46 winner first announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day. While she’ll use some of her prize money to take an extended maternity leave, she plans to bank most of her winnings and “forgetting about it.”
Her main goal is to use the cash earned on Survivor to fund her retirement. She doesn’t want to change anything about the way she lives and will be living the same.
When it comes to whether or not Kenzie Petty will return for Survivor 50, she’s unsure. “Of course, if they call, you need to think about it,” she told Entertainment Weekly. But I am very full from Survivor and I don’t have anything else that I need from the island. I went out there to win. I won.”
