Bunnie Xo Finally Got Her First Pair of Louboutin Shoes

Bunnie Xo had a Cinderella moment recently, after getting not one but three new pairs of shoes from designer Christian Louboutin.

Bunnie, a podcast host and Internet personality who is also wife to country superstar Jelly Roll, admits she’s never really been a big fan of designer gear. “Those of you who have been following me for a really long time, you guys know that I do not do designer s–t,” she said in a video of herself unboxing the new footwear.

“I never really wanted to. My husband had to force me to get a designer purse,” she goes on to say.

But it’s hard to argue with the iconic style and statement of a pair of Louboutins, which are known for their signature red-bottom stilettos. And Bunnie has some personal history with the brand, because she once tried to buy a pair before, but the price tag ended up being just a little too much.

“Last time I bought a pair of Louboutins, I couldn’t afford it,” she says. “I bought a pair, did have buyer’s remorse because I had to pay my rent, so I ended up having to take the Louboutins back.”

But between Jelly’s meteoric rise to country superstardom and the mounting success of her own projects, Bunnie no longer has to worry about forgoing luxury shoes in order to make rent — and she celebrated with three new pairs of shoes from Louboutin’s cowboy-inspired “Giddy Up” collection.

“Christian Louboutin came out with a Western line. I’m obsessed,” Bunnie explained as she showcased each pair, trying them on and doing a little tap-dance around her tour bus to demonstrate just how well they fit.

“You guys. Do you see why I wanted these so freaking bad?” she gushes. “…You can’t tell me that’s not Bunnie-coded.

All three pairs of shoes got rave reviews, but the show-stopper was the box of thigh-high denim boots she opened last, stopping to cradle the shoes and giving them a kiss before slipping them on.

According to the Louboutin website, Bunnie’s new shoes retail between $1,895 and $2,395 a pair.
