Nominees for The 2024 Edition of The Horror Game Awards Announced [Video]

The final list of nominees for The Horror Game Awards 2024 has been revealed. And to no one’s surprise, Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake leads the way with eight nominations (nine if you count Bloober Team’s nomination for Best Developer), though Wrong Organ’s Mouthwashing is right there with seven nominations of its own (nine if you again count Wrong Organ’s nominations as a developer), as well as Stormind Games’ A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead with seven nominations.

Announced by YouTubers Phil Dickens and Ash Millman, this year’s 16 categories are predictably stacked. In order to whittle down the selections in all of the jury-nominated categories, public voting will decide the top 3 from which the main jury and developer jury will pick the winners. While not up yet, you will be able to cast your vote here once things go live. Player’s Choice and Best Horror Streamer awards (for which public nominations were conducted last month) will be decided by a public vote, which will also open soon.

Meanwhile, the Technical Achievement Award and Lifetime Achievement Award will be decided by a horror game developer jury made up of over 20 game developers. All other award winners are decided upon by a separate jury of 60 expert horror fans and horror content creator specialists.

The Horror Game Awards 2024 will stream on Saturday, December 14 at 4pm ET on The Horror Game Awards YouTube channel.
