When you get to host a popular game show like The Price Is Right for as long as someone like Drew Carey has, you are bound to see a lot of things on the game show. Drew has even confessed to the fact that he notices that a lot of people smell of alcohol, and many of them take other substances before they even get to the stage.
When viewers attend a taping of The Price Is Right, they never know for sure if they are going to get picked to “come on down” or not. So, understandably, a lot of people drink alcohol or take other substances to help them calm their nerves. One past contestant even admitted to being high on mushrooms while he was up on stage with Drew Carey.
Game Show Contestant Gives Drew Carey The Creeps
In recent The Price Is Right scenes, one contestant gave host Drew Carey the creeps. More specifically, it was the shirt they wore that did it. The recent contestant had a strange shirt indeed, and she explained that one of her friends even dressed up as Drew Carey, which you can see on the shirt itself.
In response to seeing this player with her unique shirt on The Price Is Right stage, Drew Carey addressed announcer George Gray, saying: “It’s like looking in a fun house mirror, George.”
The Price Is Right: Drew Carey Has To Be Prepared For Anything
One thing about Drew Carey is, he has to be prepared for anything whenever he steps up to host the popular game show. He never quite knows what to expect when it comes to who might “come on down.” So, in this aspect, Drew has to stay on his toes.
It turns out, this recent player won when she chose two of the smallest objects, but she eventually lost when it came to the spinning round. However, because of the unique shirt she wore when she made it to The Price Is Right set, she certainly made quite the impression on both the host and the audience. So, in that regard, she certainly made her mark even though she did not win big.
