It’s almost time to head back to Cousins.
Ahead of the release of The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s third and final season, a teaser video showing off a new look for protagonist Isabella “Belly” Conklin (played by Lola Tung) in the upcoming Jenny Han adaptation has been revealed.
In a video shared to TikTok March 10, Lola—whose character normally sports a fresh-faced look and dons denim shorts—spun around and shook her hips while wearing a stunning midi-length yellow dress with spaghetti straps.
Reciting a quote from the first book in the trilogy, she said in a voiceover, “For me, everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. All year long, I count the days until I’m in that house.”
And while fans previously got a glimpse at the top half of the new ensemble when The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s season three poster was unveiled earlier this month, this clip provided a head-to-toe look at Lola’s more mature outfit, makeup look and hair style for the third installment. At one point, the camera even zoomed in on the 22-year-old’s face, highlighting her bright pink lip and matching blush, as well as her slicked back bun.
