Wheel Of Fortune viewers never quite know what contestants will show up to play the popular game. Based on recent scenes from the show, even host Ryan Seacrest was taken aback by one player. So, what happened in recent scenes to cause this surprise from the host?
Wheel Of Fortune Players Come From All Walks Of Life
When it comes to Wheel Of Fortune players and who is cast to compete on the popular game show, contestants come from all walks of life. Some are young college students, and others are retired, and just about everything in between.
Not too long ago, there was even a retired former pro wrestler who was quick to put host Ryan Seacrest in a headlock during a live taping. So, no matter how predictable anyone thinks the show is, there is always a little bit of room for the unexpected.

Recent Game Show Contestant Was Full Of Spirit And School Pride
Part of the segments on Wheel Of Fortune involve player introductions, where Ryan Seacrest will ask the competitors about themselves, and they get to share some facts about hobbies or other aspects of their lives. It turns out, based on recent scenes, one player, in particular, was really proud of what school he attended.
When asked about himself, and whether or not he was a big sports fan, a recent Wheel Of Fortune player said: “Big sports fan. I graduated from the University of Arkansas, so on football seasons on Saturdays, you can find me with my fellow Arkansasians in a symphony of beer and barnyard noises.”
From there, Ryan Seacrest asked this player, Justin Orr, about what they say, and this is where Justin really kicked things into gear. He said: “OOOO! Pigs! Suey!” He followed this up with: “OOOO! Razorbacks!”
Fired Up Wheel Of Fortune Player Did Not Take Home The Big Prize
Despite being fired up and energized with school spirit, it was not Justin Orr who came away with the big win. His competition, Christina Rinaldi, was the big winner in this recent episode. When it came time for her to introduce herself, she went on to say that she had a fear of butterflies.
This was certainly something that Ryan Seacrest did not expect, and he even joked that Rinaldi should do Justin’s chant in order to keep the butterflies at bay. Despite this unusual fear, she had no fear when it came to winning the highest money total for the episode, beating out her competition along the way.

Christina Rinaldi won a total of $16,099 in cash and prizes, and this even included a trip to Switzerland. If that were not enough, she ended up nailing the bonus puzzle as well, which added a brand-new car to her overall Wheel Of Fortune haul.
