‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Is TLC Covering Up Amy Slaton’s Dirty Deeds?

1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton has been through many controversies over the years. She was charged with possession of illegal drugs and child endangerment last September. It all began over a camel bite incident. Amy’s arrest issue was also featured in the latest season. But some fans think TLC is covering up Amy’s dirty deeds. Keep reading to see why.

1000-Lb Sisters: How Did Amy Slaton Get Arrested

Amy’s arrest happened during a safari visit with Brian and her kids last year. The 1000-Lb Sisters star was feeding a camel when it suddenly bit her arm. It was so bad that some chunks of her body fat came out of her arm. The siblings also reacted to Amy’s camel bite, and all of them had a good laugh at it. But what makes it worse is that Amy was later arrested after the authorities discovered illegal drugs in her car. Amy pleaded guilty and was released on a $10,000 bond.

Is TLC Covering Up Amy’s Dirty Deeds?

Some 1000-Lb Sisters fans on social media discussed the possibility that TLC is covering up Amy’s dirty deeds. According to the poster, they’re curious about how Amy was caught with marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms, but the show seems to be skipping that part, making them think that Amy is getting a pass from the show. Others agreed about how TLC seemingly allows Amy’s dirty deeds, which is an unusual sight to see, as the network is known for quickly cutting ties with their stars whenever they get into legal issues.

    • “Mushrooms are the least of their worries drug wise. He seems hella tweaky. It’s legal to cultivate where I live, it’s one of my husbands hobbies and microdosing has made a huge difference in my mental health.”
    • “Why would the cops search the car after she got bit by the camel? Did it super smell like weed? Holy shit never mind just saw a comment that said it was 50+ grams. Of course it reeked.”
    • “I think this is a case of the show trying to do the most to try and make it seem like it wasn’t as bad as it was. They know we know what it was…they’re just trying to save face to make their show look better (like that’s possible). They had Amy talk about that stupid weed card like 10 times.”
    • “I think it was a choice by tlc to protect the show. They know the audience will only excuse so much negligent parenting before they will want her canceled. They also know that her & her boys are a big part of the show & it may be over without them.”

1000-Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton Is Turning Over A New Leaf

After all the controversies, it seems Amy Slaton is finally turning over a new leaf. This comes following her recent meet-and-greet events, showing appreciation to the fans. The 1000-Lb Sisters star also caused a huge argument among fans, as some don’t want to pay just to see her. Amy will also appear in another meet-and-greet event with all of her siblings next month, which could get even more expensive.
