ABC has officially renewed DWTS for another season. The popular celebrity dance competition returns on Tuesdays this fall. But not much is known about the upcoming season. We know that Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are returning as co-hosts. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will serve as judges again.
The celebrity cast for Season 34 is slowly coming together. In April, the network announced conservationist Robert Irwin as the first celebrity contestant. He’s the son of the famed “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin and the younger brother of DWTS champ Bindi Irwin. He has big shoes to fill. ABC announced on Thursday who will join him in the competition.
Rumored DWTS Cast
The professional dancers on DWTS are almost more famous than the celebrities competing. Exactly which dancers are returning hasn’t been released yet. However, Sasha Farber said that if he returns, he wants a big-name celebrity. As viewers know, the word “celebrity” when it comes to reality TV usually means D-list and below. The network usually chooses contestants based on who is in the news or trending on social media.
Since an official cast list hasn’t been revealed yet, fans have been flooding social media with their best guesses. It’s almost a given that at least one Bachelor Nation star will be on Season 34. It could be the last Bachelor, Grant Ellis, or Joey Graziadei’s fiance, Kelsey Anderson.
A professional sports player is usually on the cast, as well. Fans want NFL quarterback Travis Kelce to exchange his cleats for dance shoes. But DWTS airs during the NFL season, so that’s unlikely. However, his older brother, Jason Kelce, is retired from football.
Fans are convinced that one of the women from Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives will compete on Season 34. The Hulu show is one of the hottest new reality TV shows.
One unexpected celebrity fans want to see on DWTS is Dannielynn Birkhead. She’s the daughter of late model Anna Nicole Smith, who died from an overdose in 2007. Dannielynn was raised in a quiet life but has started stepping out more now that she’s 18. She recently turned heads at the Kentucky Derby.
ABC Reveals 2nd Season 34 Celebrity
In the last few years, DWTS has tapped a social media influencer to compete on the show. The second celebrity announced for the upcoming season became famous partly due to her ‘Get Ready With Me (GRWM)’ videos on TikTok.
ABC announced social media star Alix Earle as the second contestant on Dancing With The Stars. Before she rose to fame on social media, Earle earned a degree in marketing from The University of Miami.

Alix Earle is a huge fan of Dancing With The Stars. She even attended the show’s 500th episode in November. “I have been watching it every week religiously,” she said at the time.
