As longtime The View watchers know, Joy Behar is a loose cannon. Viewers never quite know when something or someone will set her off during a broadcast. This is a big reason that brings people in to continue watching the popular talk show.
Joy will go toe-to-toe with anyone if they push her buttons and get her going, and even when something may land her in hot water, she is never afraid to get her point across. When you consider how long Joy has been in the business, she is certainly doing something right, even if she may ruffle a few feathers from time to time.
Ana Navarro Calls Out Joy Behar For Violent Outburst
In recent discussion among the ladies on The View, the subject of Americans and their eating habits came up. As longtime fans of the program know, something like this is a normal topic of discussion on the program, as the ladies often weigh in on recent headlines and trends.
In the middle of this topic, Joy Behar said, “I went to dinner with Ana last night, and I’ll tell you something. I’ve dined with supermodels that ate more than you did.”
Ana Navarro was quick to fire back following this jab from Behar, as she dished on everything that Joy complained about during their dinner out.
Ana said, “By the way, I don’t know what you’re going to do when they close that restaurant. First, it was too hot, so she told them to turn it down. Then, it was too loud, so she told them to turn the music off. Then, it was too much light, so she told them to put the shades down!”
If anything, it seems that Joy Behar is just as animated in her personal life during a night out as she is on The View, and while this behavior from Joy certainly rubs some people the wrong way, Joy being outspoken is just part of her personality.
Unfortunately, the restaurant in question (Porter House) has been reported to be closing. So, Joy may not be able to go there for much longer. Speaking of the potential closure, Joy added, “I resent it, and I don’t like that because I love that place. I have so many friends who work there, all the waiters and sommelier and the maître d’s.”
