When it comes to popular reality television shows, people love keeping up with families. This is true with Alaskan Bush People and the Brown family. This is even true for more recent shows like The McBee Dynasty, where fans follow Steven McBee and his sons.
Before The McBee Dynasty, however, there was Duck Dynasty, as viewers followed along with the Robertson family. The original reality show has been off the air since 2017, but that does not stop fans from keeping up with family members and everything they share on social media.
Duck Dynasty Star Shares Pregnancy Reveal
Based on the latest updates making the rounds on social media, Jessica Robertson shared news with her many followers. It turns out, she is going to be a grandmother again.
Along with sharing pics showing off her daughter’s growing baby bump, Jessica Robertson wrote in the caption, “Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October. Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby.”
Robertson continued, adding, “This isn’t the plans we had laid out for Priscilla but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings! We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl! We pray blessings on her pregnancy & ask God for a safe delivery for Mom & Baby. We praise God for His perfect gifts!💛 Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!”
Duck Dynasty Fans Livid Over Recent Announcement
While pregnancy announcements are typically met with a lot of excitement, many Duck Dynasty fans are livid, not because of the pregnancy announcement itself, but with how Jessica Robertson chose to address it. Many even called this recent announcement “backhanded.”
- One commenter said, “Really had to put this isn’t the plans we had. How embarrassing. Talk about a subtle jab.. it’s like let me make a post to celebrate my daughter but.. a little disclaimer.”
