‘Wednesday’ Season 2: Part 2 Featurette Previews Gwendoline Christie’s Return

Get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at “Wednesday” Season 2: Part 2 in the featurette below, where you’ll also find a new poster.

“The second half of the season, we’re all very excited for everyone to see what happens.” says star and producer Jenna Ortega. “There’s just so many storylines in this. It’s chaos!”

“Wednesday” Season 2: Part 1 is now streaming on Netflix, with Part 2 to follow on September 3.

Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new supernatural mystery.

The upcoming episodes see the return of Gwendoline Christie as Principal Weems and introduce Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood, an enigmatic teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.

The cast also includes Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Isaac Ordonez, Joy Sunday, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, and Hunter Doohan.

Series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville,” Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) are back as showruners.

Executive producer Tim Burton directs the final two episodes of the season, with Angela Robinson (Professor Marston & the Wonder Women) helming the other two.
