However, people were having to fill in for her as she was always gone. No one really knew what was happening with her. Kelly Clarkson is returning to The Voice for Season 29. However, there were some strict warnings that came with her return. A source spoke out on it all.
“[Brandon’s] passing delayed some crucial parts of the season, like certain tapings and shooting promo but they were able to make up for loss time so ultimately, it ended up getting evened out. When [Kelly] came back, [the production team] was all told not to bring it up. Not to bring up Brandon, even if just to say we were sorry. I mean look, I get it, she was there to work and doesn’t need to be reminded of this tragedy every 5 seconds. It’d be too emotional. “
The production agreed that this was the best choice as they love Kelly and wanted her to be happy. However, she has been seen wiping tears away multiple times while filming Season 29.
It seems as though the producers and crew were informed not to bring up Brandon’s death. They did not even want them to say that they were sorry for her loss. This is because they did not want her reminded of the tragedy every five minutes.
