Mark Cuban was on Shark Tank for 16 seasons. However, he decided it was time for him to leave the show. Fans were saddened to hear this news. However, it is what was best for him and his family. His children are now teenagers. This means that he wanted to be more involved in his kids’ lives. The show is filmed in Culver City, California. However, this was not close to his children. He would be leaving when they were getting out of school and returning when they were already gone back. Mark wanted to prioritize his family more, and fans understand that.

Shark Tank Ratings Shocker After Exit, Will It Survive?

Shark Tank ratings are not doing as good as they were when Mark Cuban was on the show. The premiere of Season 17 brought in 1.8 million viewers. However, the Season 16 premiere brought in 2.4 million. So, it has already taken a big drop. However, in each episode, it seems to drop more. This is not good news for the show.

“Shark Tank has been having to rely on stunt casting every week this season, like Chip and Joanna Gaines and even bringing back past entrepreneurs from other seasons. Because they embraced to have a ratings plummet after Mark left and unfortunately that’s  what they got, The guest shark casting is essentially because the network couldn’t land one big enough name to be a Shark full-time for the whole season. “

Yikes. The show needs to find a good replacement shark, or Shark Tank may not be a show much longer.

It seems as though the show’s ratings are down almost a million since Mark left. This is not a good sign, and no one has any idea what is in store for the future of the show. However, everyone is hoping they can find a permanent shark that fills the big shoes and saves the day. A lot of people love the show. However, there is no telling if it is going to be enough to save it for good. What do you think about this? Are you shocked? Sound off in the comments below. We would love to hear your thoughts on this situation.
