Christmas Chaos: Making ‘The Mean One’ is now streaming for free on Prime Video, and we have an exclusive trailer below.

The 47-minute documentary pulls back the curtain on the hilarious trials, late-night disasters, and impossible victories of a scrappy crew of indie filmmakers determined to make a very unauthorized holiday horror film on a shoestring budget, fueled by big dreams, bigger laughs, and more heart than anyone expected.

Thornton, director/creator Steven LaMorte, writers Flip Kobler and Finn Kobler, actress/producer Amy Schumacher, and more creative collaborators deliver a deeply human look at what it takes to pull off the impossible when all you have is passion, teamwork, and a slightly unhinged idea.
