Jenna Johnson Shares Her and Val Chmerkovskiy’s 2-Year-Old Son Rome Was Hospitalized
Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson‘s son Rome saw more than just mommy kissing Santa Claus on Dancing With the Stars.
The 2-year-old made his ballroom debut during the ABC show’s Dancing With the Holidays special Dec. 2, appearing alongside his parents in a dance routine set to “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”
The performance started with Rome—clad in a white collared shirt with a burgundy vest and matching trousers—sitting on a velvet couch with his parents. As the classic Christmas hit began to play, his parents sashayed over to the dance floor.
The routine ended with Jenna picking up Rome in her arms as Val walked back into the room dressed as Santa. The trio were then greeted by DWTS co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, whose microphone piqued Rome’s interest.
“Do you want to say hi?” Julianne asked the tiny tot, who reached for the mic and cooed, “What’s up?”
When Jenna was discussing their holiday plans as a family, including bringing Rome on the Dancing With the Stars nationwide tour, her son made another precious play for the microphone and sweetly told the crowd, “Merry Christmas!”
