‘They Will Kill You’ Trailer – Zazie Beetz Spills Buckets of Blood in Horror-Action-Comedy

A New York City high-rise serves as a temple to Satan, and new maid Zazie Beetz is its latest human sacrifice in They Will Kill You.

Watch the trailer — which heartily earns its red band status with copious carnage — below, where you’ll also find new posters.

From New Line Cinema and Nocturna, the gory horror-action-comedy will be unleashed in theaters on March 27 via Warner Bros.

Beetz stars as a young woman who must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering.

Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette round out the cast.

Kirill Sokolov (Why Don’t You Just Die!) directs from a script he co-wrote with Alex Litvak (Predators).

IT filmmaker Andy Muschietti produces alongside Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan. Executive producers include Sokolov, Litvak, Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, and Carl Hampe.

It’s rated R for “strong bloody violence, gore, language, and brief sexual content/nudity.”

They Will Kill You is scheduled to open the same day as Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, which is particularly interesting since the films seem to share similar tones, genres, and themes.
