‘The View’ Joy Behar Shocked To Agree With Alyssa Farah Griffin

Joy Behar has been an outspoken voice on The View for nearly three decades. She’s often alone in her opinions. Sometimes Whoopi Goldberg has to step in as moderator to keep the “Hot Topics” discussions civil. One co-host Joy Behar rarely agrees with is Alyssa Farah Griffin.

However, cooler heads have prevailed since Alyssa Farah Griffin’s return to the show. She was off in February and March after welcoming her first child in February. Since she’s been back, Joy Behar and viewers have found themselves agreeing with her on several issues. Keep reading for more details on the surprising turn of events.

Joy Behar Shocked To Agree With Alyssa Farah Griffin

Alyssa Farah Griffin used to be a huge supporter of President Trump. In fact, she worked in his first administration. She resigned in 2020 after disagreeing with the claims that the election was stolen. She joined The View in 2022. While she still considers herself a Republican, she no longer supports President Trump and voted for Kamala Harris in 2024.

Meanwhile, Joy Behar has been an outspoken Democrat for years. The two often butt heads on the ABC talk show. However, Alyssa Farah Griffin was definitely missed while she was gone. Her return gave her co-hosts and viewers a newfound appreciation for her.

In fact, Joy Behar found herself agreeing with her co-host two days in a row this week. The first time was during a discussion about whether Democrats should embrace former Trump supporters, including Marjorie Taylor Greene. The former Congresswoman dropped her support for the President in recent months, expressing concerns that he wasn’t putting America First as his campaign promised.

Joy Behar said Democrats should welcome former Trump supporters with open arms. Sunny Hostin loudly disagreed. However, Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump supporter herself, agreed with Joy Behar.

Celebrity news and gossip outlet TMZ recently announced plans to pivot its content to the politicians in D.C. The View hosts thought it was a great idea. Alyssa Farah Griffin shared some dirty details about what she saw in Washington when she worked for Trump.

“I think members of congress should be treated with the same scrutiny that Kim Kardashian does,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said. “For two days in a row, I agree with you,” Joy Behar replied in shock.

The View Fans Can’t Believe It Either

It’s rare when Alyssa Farah Griffin and Joy Behar agree on an issue. It’s even rarer when the audience at home agrees with Alyssa. Several viewers took to social media to share their shock at the turn of events.

    • “I truly agree with Joy and Alyssa today. If someone is speaking out against what’s happening in this country, or have been duped, we should all welcome that person with open arms!”
    • “I actually agree w/ @Alyssafarah for once! As long as Congress has turned over their power & acting like mascots & disgusting degenerates they are worthy of TMZ chasing & no other level of real media coverage.”
    • “I didn;t have agreeing with @Alyssafarah on my bingo card”

Alyssa Farah Griffin was more than ready to return to The View after having a baby. The audience was eager to welcome her back after several guest co-hosts. However, it won’t be long until she’s back to arguing with Joy Behar.
