Parker McCollum and his wife, Hallie Ray Light, have welcomed their second child.
The couple turned to social media to announce the birth of their second son on Aug. 1.
“Rocker Tommy Light McCollum!” they wrote,
“Born on July 30th / 8 pounds 7 oz!
“THANK YOU JESUS for another healthy baby boy! we are so in love with our little fam! mom & dad x 2 here we gooooooo!”
The singer took two shows off his calendar before the birth of his child.
McCollum shared the news in an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday night (July 29), saying that he and his wife are expecting their baby to be born on Thursday (July 30).
“My beautiful wife is blessing our family with our second baby and it’s looking like he’ll be here tomorrow!” McCollum wrote. “I couldn’t be more excited to become a dad for the second time.”

On Wednesday night, McCollum was performing at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. His social media post shared that he’d be going straight home after that concert to be by his wife’s side as she gives birth.
From the stage, McCollum was visibly overjoyed about becoming a dad of two.
“I’m having my second baby tomorrow,” he proudly told the crowd. “But God is good, and as long as that baby gets here healthy, I’ll never ask him for anything again.”
He also dedicated his song “Hell of a Year” to his wife that night.
Parker McCollum Postpones Shows as He Prepares to Welcome His Second Baby
The birth of McCollum’s second child means that he’ll take the weekend off from performing.
“Hate having to make that call, but family comes first,” he wrote on Instagram Stories.
The affected shows are his July 31 tour stop in Kansas City, Mo., and his Aug. 1 tour stop in Omaha, Neb. The Omaha date is rescheduled for Sept. 10, and the Kansas City date is rescheduled for Sept. 12. Tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored on the new dates.
“Thanks for understanding and for all the love,” the singer concluded. “Can’t wait to see y’all soon.”
