Teresa Giudice has become synonymous with The Real Housewives franchise. Despite that and what it has afforded her and her family, she admits that she has regrets about doing the show. Keep reading for more on what the RHONJ OG had to say about her time on Bravo.
Teresa Giudice Gained A Lot From Bravo
During her time on RHONJ, Teresa Giudice became a household name. She started off the show married to Joe Giudice and was even pregnant with her fourth daughter, Audriana, in Season 1. Viewers watched her family grow, and Teresa started a brand with books and wines. Additionally, she created a name for herself as an extremely fiery personality, flipping tables and unleashing her own fury. Unfortunately, her life was flipped upside down when she and her husband Joe were convicted on 39 counts of fraud.

They both went to jail, with Joe ultimately being deported back to Italy. Now, Teresa just wrapped Season 15 of RHONJ and will be a part of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. However, if she could do it all over again, the mother of four would have declined. She shared that she does not believe she would have gone to prison had it not been for the show, and she stands by this:
“I mean, I got made an example of, so you can’t really go by me, because I really didn’t commit a crime and then I got charged for a crime because I was in the public eye.”
Teresa Giudice added that while she and her ex-husband may be strong, it was absolutely unfair to their children:
“So that’s why, would I put my family through that again? I would not want to do that. Because it didn’t… I’m strong. And my ex-husband we’re both, you know, we’re adults. It hurt my kids. That’s who it hurt. So I wouldn’t want to put them through that again.”
Some fans may dispute this as Teresa’s daughter gave up her law school dreams to become an influencer. She is also now one of the stars on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC. That would not have been possible without her mother.
The Blame Game
Fans who saw Teresa Giudice on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle speaking about her past on RHONJ were torn. Some felt that she had matured, while others have grown tired of her claiming she was innocent. She then goes and blames Bravo and her popularity for getting caught:
- Every con & ex-con say they didn’t do anything! Being on a tv show doesn’t make you go to prison or made an example out of something.
- Here she goes again. lying through her teeth,,, saying she didn’t commit a crime… And “the show “ put her kids through alot. Err No YOUR crimes put your kids through alot! Andy’s face as she was talking bs….. She’s basically biting the hand that feeds her. Cohen and her are gross!
- Teresa seems so much more mentally mature
Despite what she says about not doing the show again, if she could go back, how long will she remain? Finally, do you think Teresa Giudice is a good asset? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
