Jelly Roll Has a Presidential Ticket We Can All Agree On

Jelly Roll has got the perfect presidential ticket for the 2024 election, and it’s loaded with female country artists. As the “Halfway to Hell” singer has made himself at home in Music City, he’s gotten to know several leading ladies in the genre, and he’s got an idea for prominent government positions for several of them.

While chatting with Taste of Country at the 2024 ACM Awards, Jelly Roll mentioned one of our merchandise items — the “Dolly/Reba ’24” campaign shirt.

That’s when he shared his vision for an all-female country artist administration.

“Reba [McEntire]. Dolly [Parton]. That’s probably a party everybody can agree on in America,” he says with a chuckle.

    Press Secretary: Miranda Lambert

“If Reba and Dolly go for president, I would want Miranda Lambert to be the spokesperson — that goes and talks to the media and sets them straight,” he explains, referring to the Press Secretary position. “I’d want Miranda Lambert to have that job.”

    Chief of Operations: Lainey Wilson

“We’d build an all female team around them, right? Because that would be the way to do it,” he reveals. “We’d bring Lainey [Wilson] in to do the Chief of Operations, ’cause Lainey knows how to keep s–t moving. You know what I’m saying?”

    Chief of Security: Ashley McBryde

“We’d make Ashley McBryde the Chief of Security. We’d put her in charge of the Secret Service. She’s a bad motherf—er.”

    Chief of Staff: Kelsea Ballerini

“We’d have Kelsea [Ballerini] be Chief of Staff. Kelsea’s real level-headed. She’d be great in that position,” he adds. “I’m telling ya, I could put it together.”

When Taste of Country asked if he saw himself being a part of this staff in any capacity, he declined to give himself a role.

“I wouldn’t do anything,” he says emphatically. “It’d be an all-female staff. I’d just be glad to be there.”

Would you vote for this presidential ticket?
