Chelsea Peretti was choked up remembering her deceased Brooklyn 99 co-star, Andre Braugher, during an interview with The Talk on Friday, recalling that Braugher was “always singing” while on the lot for shoots. “We shared a lot of memories about him. He was a special person,” Peretti said, fighting back tears as she noted that the rest of the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast had gotten dinner on Thursday night. “It’s hard to talk about because it’s emotional.” Braugher, who anchored the show as the hilarious, deadpan Captain Raymond Holt, died last December at age 61 following complications from lung cancer. Peretti…
Photography courtesy of launchmetrics.com/spotlight Hot tools for every hair type and texture, right this way. By Natalie Michie Date March 12, 2024 If you invest in only one hair tool, let it be the hair straightener. Since their introduction to the styling game many moons ago, these hot tools have evolved to be magic multi-purpose gems. These days, hair straighteners not only straighten but create curls, beachy waves and cascading Scandi-girl curtain bangs. (Just be sure you’re using good quality heat protectant and oil treatments to keep your tresses intact.) To get the most out of them, it’s important to…
First came love for Jade Cline and Sean Austin, then daughter Kloie, then came years of arguments, breakups and makeups. But now that the Teen Mom stars have grown both separately—while he was spending months working on his sobriety in late 2021, she was healing herself in therapy—and together, marrying in their home state of Indiana last October, well, Jade is ready to dust off that baby carriage. “I got off birth control,” the Mane & Marble salon owner confessed in an exclusive interview with E! There’s a lot to appreciate about co-directors David Zellner and Nathan Zellner‘s unique cryptid comedy, Sasquatch Sunset. A slice-of-life chronicling of a nomadic sasquatch family, possibly the very last of their kind, bridges the short gap between humans and cryptids in its showcasing of family drama to comedic effect. That the fiercely committed cast remains completely unrecognizable under head-to-toe prosthetics also impresses. Despite a short runtime, though, the nonverbal cryptid comedy winds up feeling like a bit that quickly overstays its welcome. Riley Keough, Jesse Eisenberg, Christophe Zajac-Denek, and Nathan Zellner make up a foursome of hairy Bigfoots who spend their days leisurely gathering and hunting- mostly…

After Stone became the one to win the Oscar that night, Gladstone had a touching moment with Scorsese, who consoled her after her loss.Lily Gladstone stood up and cheered when her Oscar-nominated bestie Emma Stone’s name was called out as this year’s Best Actress.…

Writer/Director Tilman Singer continues his streak of experimental high-concept horror with his sophomore effort, Cuckoo. The filmmaker boldly marches to the beat of his own drum, examining heady themes of grief, reproduction, and gendered expectations through inventive, playful horror. That Cuckoo plays it fast and loose with details and plotting means that this body horror entry will likely polarize, but lovers of weird cinema will find a lot of charm in Singer’s latest. After a peculiar cold open that won’t make sense until much later in the film, Cuckoo introduces seventeen-year-old Gretchen (Hunter Schafer). The moody teen wears her disdain plainly as she’s dragged by…
Alex Garland, the writer and director behind projects including the 2022 horror Men and 2014’s sci-fi thriller Ex Machina is back with what some may consider horror of a different type with Civil War.
