Photography courtesy of Fendi No, it’s not a new celebrity couple. By Annika Lautens Date September 27, 2021 Facebook Twitter Let’s be clear: “Fendace” is not a collaboration. At least, not according to the creative minds behind Fendi and Versace. For the finale of Milan’s Spring 2022 fashion week, the two luxury fashion houses joined forces to create “Fendace.” Not to be confused with a new celebrity couple à la Bennifer or Brangelina, the collections saw Fendi directors Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi design 25 Versace looks while Donatella Versace reciprocated with 25 Fendi ensembles. Despite swirling rumours of…

“Work,” one of her employers tells Alex, the heroine of Netflix’s fantastic new limited series Maid, “is the one thing you can count on. Everything else is fragile.” It’s an apt sentiment for both Alex (Margaret Qualley) and Maid itself, a limited series about the value — financial and psychological — of hard work. After Alex leaves an abusive relationship with Sean (Nick Robinson) and finds herself and her daughter, Maddy (Rylea Nevaeh Whittet), homeless, large swaths of Maid follow her as she cleans houses and fights her way through layers of government red tape just to put food on…

Two songs into the launch of the Rolling Stones’ No Filter Tour 2021 at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis on Sunday, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards stepped to the front of the stage, clutched their hands together, and addressed the intense sorrow hanging over the event. “I just want to say that it’s quite emotional seeing those images of Charlie up on the screen,” Jagger said, referencing a video montage of the late drummer that had kicked off the evening. “This is our first tour that we’ve ever done without him. “The reaction from you guys, everything…

The opening title card’s preceding text reads “Dario Argento presents” fits in a certain sense; She Will operates within the realm of dreams. It’s a story relayed through potent and mesmerizing imagery over a traditional narrative structure, and women drive it. The connections cease there. She Will offers an intoxicating visual feast, casting a beguiling spell of a slow awakening and reckoning. Alice Krige stars as Veronica Ghent, a famous actress seeking a tranquil recovery after a double mastectomy. She travels to a retreat in the Highlands, accompanied by young nurse Desi (Kota Eberhardt), but moves even deeper into the woods when the hotel guests…

Mickey Guyton has been open about the struggles she’s faced in country music, often advocating for equality and representation within the genre and vulnerably sharing about the personal hardships she’s had to endure. However, she’s not opened up about her husband Grant Savoy’s terrifying health scare and misdiagnosis, until now.Speaking to Today’s Country with Kelleigh Bannen about the inspiration behind her stirring new song “Lay It on Me,” Guyton revealed some shocking information she has kept private for a while.”My husband was really sick. He had something going on with his health where we went through a whole year of testing, and that…

Will Halloween Ends Really Be The Last Of The Franchise? That brings us to one final, but ultimate question. Should Halloween Ends end the franchise here? This depends on a lot of factors that cannot be predicted, but from where I see it Hollywood can’t kill this horror beast. Sure, this trilogy could end with the death of Michael Myers, but because the character is so written in the fabric of slashers, filmmakers will want to resurrect him one way or another. But at least this Halloween trilogy can try to finally do some justice to Laurie Strode’s legacy and finish…

Following a week of beefing with Slipknot, Machine Gun Kelly was greeted with a chorus of boos throughout the singer-rapper’s Saturday set at the metal-leaning Louder Than Life Festival. Last weekend, Machine Gun Kelly launched into a tirade at Chicago’s Riot Fest against Slipknot — who were playing at the same time on a neighboring stage — calling the group “old weird dudes with masks.” It was later revealed that there was some residual animosity over a nixed collaboration between MGK and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. MGK — an artist who, as Taylor hinted, “failed in one genre and decided to…

It’s ironic that we’ve only now gotten around to diving deep into the original Castlevania after delving into retrospectives for its two sequels. At 35, the series has seen its up and downs. The current trend seems to be to lament over “the good old days” of when Konami first bestowed greatness on Nintendo’s Famicom Disc System back in 1986, then porting it over to the NES. And given the current prospects of many of Konami’s classic series, it’s not out of the question. But hey, instead of mourning for what could have been, reminisce instead over what we’ve gotten…
