How Khloé Kardashian Feels About Taking Tristan Thompson Back After

Tristan Thompson very publicly apologized to Khloé Kardashian on Monday when he confirmed that he fathered a child, born in December, with Maralee Nichols during a period when he was dating Kardashian. While Kardashian has taken Thompson back after multiple cheating scandals during their on-off relationship, sources have indicated to E! and Us Weekly that this time is different.

Thompson is still trying to court Kardashian, one source told Us: “Tristan wants to make everything right with Khloé. He wants to win her back, but she will never take him back romantically after learning about his cheating. This was the final straw.”

A source told E! that Kardashian is definitely struggling taking Thompson’s news and actions in: “She is still very upset and it’s been hard for her to accept this,” the source said. “After everything they have been through, he was still saying one thing and doing another. She knows she deserves so much better.”

With Thompson, the source said, she “will continue to coparent and follow the custody schedule they have for True, but that is it.”

A second source told the outlet that Kardashian is “very disappointed and hurt by him” given this and in terms of their romantic future, she is “relieved to be done” with him now.

“Khloé is all about trust and loyalty,” the source said. “She feels disrespected. She’s ready to move on.”

In his statement, Thompson apologized for his years of misconduct to Kardashian.

He wrote:

Today, paternity test results reveal I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son.

I sincerely apologize for everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.

Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.
