Louis Vuitton is dripping with dots thanks to Yayoi Kusama

Are you seeing spots? We’d be concerned if you weren’t considering the high dosage of dots decorating these products. Louis Vuitton is releasing a collection of whimsical wares to mark the 10th anniversary of its first collaboration with Yayoi Kusama. The assortment, which became available this week, features accessories and apparel accented with the Japanese artist’s iconic prints like Painted, Infinity and Metal Dots, as well as Psychedelic Flowers, hitting the sweet spot (pun intended) between fun and fashionable.

In Canada, you can never have too many coats. If you want to add more warmth to your wardrobe, check out the Wuxly pop-up store in Toronto. It’s open until March, and guests are invited to play dress-up to discover the Canadian brand’s newest arctic-level assortment of outerwear. Plus, everything the brand does is sustainably sourced, so don’t blame us if you make an impromptu purchase.

Gucci Vault does aprés-ski

It’s long been established that the aprés-ski aesthetic shouldn’t be reserved for the slopes. Paving the way for a more stylish sports-focused future is Gucci, whose experimental concept store Vault is teaming up with eight international brands on eight ski-inspired capsule collections. Available exclusively on Vault’s online store starting January 9, the Altitude assortment features brightly coloured streetwear paired with European luxury and zany Gucci touches. Schussing has never looked chicer.

Raise your hand if you’re guilty of shopping at all the same places. We all are, so why not try something new with Canadian brand Ginto Studio? This AAPI-owned and woman-founded fine jewellery label launches on January 8 and is sure to be on the must-have list of every minimalist fashionista. Expect solid gold pieces and ethically sourced gemstones combined in pretty packages.
