The 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars party is underway, and stars are showing up in fabulous style. Case in point: Olivia Wilde arrived to the afterparty on March 12 in an alluring cutout dress by Gabriela Hearst. Fresh off the fall 2023 runway, the one-shoulder white gown featured a large cutout exposing a micro leather bra top.
In collaboration with Karla Welch, the actor-director accessorized with opulent diamonds, including around her neck and in chandelier-style earrings. She completed the sultry look with smoky, dark eye makeup and beach waves. The asymmetrical silhouette drew attention to the delicate fine-line tattoos etched across her arm, including Libra and Taurus constellation designs for her kids, Otis and Daisy.
Though Wilde often dresses in lace and cutout styles, her Oscars afterparty look may be her most daring red carpet ensemble to date. She wore a similarly revealing gown at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards in December, attending the show in a completely sheer Dior number embroidered with a lacy, floral print.
