1. James Corden was recently banned from Balthazar, a popular NYC restaurant. The owner explained in Instagram posts that on one occasion, Corden was very nasty to the staff after he found a hair in his food and that on another occasion, he flipped out on the server when they messed up his wife’s order.

2. In 2016, Ruby Rose got kicked out of Rebellion Bar & Urban Kitchen, a New Orleans restaurant, after the owner claimed she cursed out the bartender and threw food at him during a tantrum.

Rose explained why she did this. She said she, her assistant, and her manager waited 60 minutes for fries and 90 minutes for food that never came. When she told the bartender, he offered them drinks, but she politely declined because she’s sober. The bartender then made offensive comments about her sobriety and even told her to “Go call your fucking sponsor.” Rose responded by throwing fries at him.

3. In 2007, Britney Spears was kicked out of the Chateau Marmont, a Los Angeles hotel. She apparently smeared a plate of gourmet food on her face, and after guests complained, she was removed from the establishment.

4. In 2012, Lindsay Lohan was banned from the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood for an enormous amount of unpaid bills. In June and July of 2012, she stayed at the hotel while filming a movie and racked up $46,350.04 in unpaid bills. The hotel manager said she was no longer welcome on the premises.

5. In 2013, Madonna was banned from the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater chain after texting during a screening of 12 Years a Slave. The theater has a strict no-talking and no-texting policy, and during the film, Madonna was allegedly texting and then lashed out on another movie-goer who told her to stop.

6. In 1994, Martin Lawrence was rumored to be banned from SNL after going off script in his monologue where he shared his opinions on women’s hygiene and genitals that were too inappropriate by the show’s standards.

7. In 2017, Jamie Foxx was kicked out of a restaurant in West Hollywood after he was attacked by another customer.

The customer went up to Foxx and his friends complaining that they were too loud. The patron said, “You don’t want to mess with me, I’m from New York,” and Foxx’s friend responded with “Fuck you. I’m from Oakland.” Other patrons say they saw the customer lunge at Foxx, and an altercation started. Then, the customer, Foxx, and Foxx’s group were all kicked out of the restaurant.

8. Will Smith is currently banned from the Oscars for 10 years after he slapped Chris Rock on stage for making a distasteful joke about Jada’s alopecia at this year’s award show.

9. Rita Ora revealed she was once turned away from one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants because she did not meet the dress code. She showed up wearing a tracksuit and sneakers wanting to have a meal but was told they couldn’t accommodate her.

10. Kanye West was banned from performing at the 2022 Grammys for his “concerning online behavior.” This came after Kanye posted a screenshot of a Google search for Trevor Noah (the show’s host), along with a racist slur, on his Instagram, because Noah called Kanye out for harassing Kim Kardashian.

11. Over the years, Kathy Griffin’s unfiltered comedy bits have gotten her barred from several shows including The View, The Today Show, and The Late Show with David Letterman.

12. Hugh Grant was banned from Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show after Stewart claimed Grant spent time at the studio complaining that he had other places to be, “giving everyone shit the whole time,” and being “a pain in the ass.”

13. Paris Hilton was banned from the Wynn Las Vegas Resorts in 2010 after being arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge. Police claimed a bag containing 0.8 of a gram of cocaine fell out when Hilton reached into a purse for lip balm.

14. Janet Jackson was disinvited from the 2004 Grammys after her wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl.

15. In 2010, Lil Wayne was banned from the Wynn before he even showed up there. Lil Wayne surprised Drake on the last night of Drake’s tour, but a representative from the Wynn told Drake’s team that Lil Wayne could not attend the afterparty at the hotel allegedly because of the rapper’s strict probation terms that prohibited him from consuming alcohol for three years.

16. Blake Lively was banned from Disneyland for a year when she was 6 years old after getting caught trying to sneak into the park.

17. And lastly, in 2014, Miley Cyrus was banned from performing in the Dominican Republic. Government officials claimed that she “undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law.”
