It’s been three months since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot (for the second time) during a romantic wedding at Ben’s Georgia home with their family and friends present. But for Bennifer it might as well have been yesterday!
On Wednesday, a source told Us Weekly the couple’s love has only gotten more overwhelming after becoming husband and wife, spilling:
“Ben and Jen are still in their honeymoon phase. They are very head over heels for each other.”
Aw! Cute!
The couple had a very exciting summer as they tied the knot in a low-key Las Vegas wedding in July before saying “I do” again in a more lavish ceremony in August. After each wedding, they jetted off to actual honeymoons in Paris and Italy, respectively. But they clearly don’t need romantic European hot spots to bring the heat! They’re back home and still feeling like newlyweds!

Luckily, making their relationship more serious on a legal level hasn’t given them any doubts, the source continued:
“Becoming husband and wife hasn’t changed their relationship much, except for the fact that it solidified what they had.”
So, what does their future look like?! With their extended wedding season behind them, they are busy getting back to their normally hectic lives while also merging their blended families. As Perezcious readers know, JLo shares twins Max and Emme, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Ben shares Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The kids are doing equally well during this time of transition, the confidant happily shared:
“The kids all get along great and enjoy spending time together as an entire family. [Ben and Jen] are looking forward to the upcoming holidays and sharing traditions together and making memories as the Afflecks.”
Love to hear the kids are getting along!! The holidays are bound to be so exciting for them all! As the family heads into this next chapter of their lives, Ben and Jen are hoping to find a new home for them to get a fresh start, the insider noted:
“They’re looking at homes to purchase together and hoping to find one they’re both happy with. It’s been an ongoing process.”
Gotta find the perfect place! And when nothing is out of your price range, we bet there’s some decision paralysis going on…

It also sounds like the Justice League star has been the sweetest husband lately as he supports his wife in her work endeavors:
“Jen is hard at work filming, and Ben has been taking over daddy duty and helping out with the kids a lot. She adores the fact that he is such a great father and she can always rely on him. He’s been very supportive of her and has visited her on set, which she loves.”
Bennifer 2.0 is seriously thriving these days!
Last month in an edition of her On The JLo newsletter, the Shotgun Wedding star opened up about how in love she still is by gushing about her second wedding, writing:
“‘This is heaven. Right Here. We’re in it now.’ That is one of my favorite lines that Ben wrote from a movie he directed called Live by Night. He also said it the night of our wedding reception in his speech, and I thought, ‘How perfect.’”
Reflecting on the couple’s past (including a called-off engagement in 2003), she continued:
“Years ago, we had no idea the road ahead would mean navigating so many labyrinths and hold so many surprises, blessings, and delights. It all culminated in this moment, one of the most perfect of our lives. We couldn’t have been happier.”
