Is everything actually OK between Britney Spears and Sam Asghari?
Just days after the couple sparked breakup rumors, a source shared with Us Weekly on Friday that the 41-year-old pop sensation and the 29-year-old actor are very happy together:
“Things between Britney and Sam are going great and they couldn’t be happier. They have an amazing marriage and love each other deeply.”
Hmm…
ICYMI, speculation has run rampant about whether or not Britney and Sam’s marriage was heading for divorce ever since the two were BOTH spotted without their wedding rings. She was seen boarding a plane at LAX Airport to head to Mexico with her manager and friend, Cade Hudson, on Tuesday – noticeably her husband AND her ring were nowhere in sight at the time. And she has yet to put it back on ever since the beginning of her vacation! Meanwhile, Sam seemed to have ditched his wedding band while running errands in El Lay this week.

Oof. A source claimed to the UK magazine Heat World that the two have been fighting a lot lately while Britney has struggled to cope with how “she was treated” throughout her conservatorship, explaining:
“Britney is still angry and frustrated about the way she was treated for all those years, and often takes it out on Sam. It’s having a huge impact on their marriage, which is hanging by a thread. She’s had crisis talks with friends and is very upset, but while everyone is sympathetic until she works on her own issues, it’s futile trying to fix the relationship.”
Big yikes! That doesn’t sound like things are “going great” to us! The Circus artist also seemed to drop hints that there was trouble in paradise on Instagram earlier this month when she wrote:
“Throwback to Mexico… before I got married … so happy and silly here!!!”
However, Sam and his team have since shut down rumors of there being some marital problems between him and Britney. The former personal trainer took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to post a picture of himself, in which his ring is clearly visible. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

His manager, Brandon Cohen, also told Page Six that Sam removed his ring since he is filming a movie right now and did not come on vacation with his wife due to his work commitments. As for Britney? She has not spoken out about the breakup rumors. But an insider explained to Us Weekly the reason why the singer wasn’t wearing her wedding ring while on vacay, saying:
“Britney doesn’t always wear her ring, particularly when she’s on vacation. And she just decided to post a fun photo with her manager.”
Of course, that is a reference to her Instagram picture with Cade aboard a private plane. See (below):
All of these are totally fair reasons for the recent situation. But as we’ve said before, we cannot help but be a little suspicious since there are a bunch of signs that there is trouble in paradise for this couple. Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments below.
