It’s Halloween season, y’all! It’s the perfect time of year to cuddle up in your favorite blanket and watch some spooky movies. Whether you’re someone who loves to watch the fall classics like Halloweentown, or looking to creep yourself out with something a little more sinister, like The Conjuring, I think it’s safe to say that Halloween season has superior movies.
There are so many spooky season classics, and it got me thinking about where the actors in those movies are now. So, I did some digging so you don’t have to! Here’s what 29 kids from your favorite horror and Halloween movies look like in 2022:
1. Danny Lloyd, who played Danny Torrance in the 1980 film The Shining. He was six years old when he filmed the movie.
And here he is in 2017. Danny, who is now 50 years old, no longer acts and is currently a teacher.
2. Lisa and Louise Burns, who played the Grady Twins from The Shining. They were 12 years old when they were cast.
And here are the twins in a recent Instagram post. They’re currently 54 years old.
3. Isabelle Fuhrman, who played Esther in the 2009 film, Orphan. She was 10 years old at the time.
And here she is in a recent Instagram post. She’s 25 years old now and returned to play the character once again in Orphan: First Kill this year.
4. Daveigh Chase, who played Samara in the 2002 film The Ring. She was 12 years old at the time.
And here she is in her 2016 film, American Romance. Currently, she’s 32 years old.
5. Linda Blair, who played Regan MacNeil in The Exorcist in the 1973. She was 14 years old at the time.
And here she is in 2019. She’s currently 63 years old.
6. Kimberly J. Brown, who played Marnie Piper in the Halloweentown movies, starting in 1998. She was 13 years old when the movie premiered.
And here she is at a horror convention in 2021. She’s currently 37 years old and engaged to her Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge costar, Daniel Kountz.
7. Emily Roeske, who also starred in Halloweentown as Sophie Piper. She was seven years old when the movie was filmed.
And here she is now. She’s currently 31 years old.
8. Joey Zimmerman, who played Marnie and Piper’s brother, Dylan, in Halloweentown. He was 12 years old when the first movie came out.
And here he is now. He’s currently 36 years old.
9. Miko Hughes, who played Gage Creed in the 1989 film Pet Sematary. He was only three years old during the movie.
And here he is at a 2019 horror convention. He’s currently 36 years old.
10. Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family in 1991. She was 11 years old at the time.
She also played Kat in Casper, which came out in 1995. She was 13 years old at the time of filming.
And here she is at the 2022 Emmy’s, where she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series forYellowjackets. She’s currently 42 years old.
11. Winona Ryder, who played Lydia in the 1988 Beetlejuice. She was 16 years old at the time.
And here she is on the Stranger Things red carpet this year. She’s currently 50 years old.
12. Sissy Spacek, who played Carrie in the 1976 film, Carrie. Though she played a 16-year-old, she was actually 26 at the time.
And here she is in 2018. She’s currently 72 years old.
13. Evan Rachael Wood, who played Kylie Owens in the 1998 movie, Practical Magic. She was 11 years old during filming.
And here she is in 2022. She’s currently 35 years old.
14. Alex Vincent, who played Andy Barclay in the 1988 Child’s Play. He was six years old when he appeared in the film.
And here he is in the 2021 Chucky TV series, reprising his role. He’s currently 41 years old.
15. Milly Shapiro, who played Charlie in the 2018 film, Hereditary. She was 15 years old at the time.
And here they are in a recent Instagram post. They’re currently 20 years old.
16. Harvey Stephens, who played Damien in The Omen in 1976. He was five years old when the movie came out.
And here he is in 2017. He’s 51 years old now.
17. Patty McCormack, who played Rhoda Penmark in the1956 film, The Bad Seed. She was 10 years old while filming the movie.
And here she is on a 2020 red carpet. She’s currently 77 years old.
18. Jamie Lee Curtis, who played 17-year-old Laurie in the Halloween movies. The first one came out in 1978, when she was 19 years old.
And here she is in the latest Halloween movie, Halloween Ends, 44 years later. She’s currently 63 years old.
19. Will Sandin, who played young Michael Meyers in Halloween. He was nine years old when it came out.
And here he is now. He’s currently 53 years old.
20. Kyle Richards, who was also in Halloween as Lindsay. She was eight years old at the time.
And here she is now. She returned to the franchise in the 2021 film, Halloween Kills, and is set to be in the upcoming Halloween Ends as well. She’s currently 52 years old.
21. Drew Barrymore as Charlie McGee in the 1984 Firestarter. She was nine years old at the time.
And here’s Drew on a red carpet just last month. She’s currently 47 years old.
22. Joey King, who played Christine in The Conjuring in 2014. She was 12 years old at the time of filming.
And here she is on the Bullet Train red carpet this year. She’s currently 23 years old.
23. Madison Wolfe, who played Janet Hodgson in The Conjuring 2, which came out in 2016. She was 13 years old when the film came out.
And here she is now. She’s currently 19 years old.
24. Fairuza Balk, who played Nancy in the 1996 film, The Craft. Although the character is 16 years old, Fairuza was 22 years old when the movie came out.
And here she is in 2016. She’s currently 48 years old.
25. Haley Joel Osment, who played Cole Sear in the 1999 film, The Sixth Sense. He was 11 years old when they made the movie.
And here he is now at the 2022 SAG awards. He’s currently 34 years old.
26. Omri Katz, who played Max in 1993’s Hocus Pocus. He was 17 years old when the movie came out.
Here he is at the 25th-anniversary celebration for the movie in 2018. He’s 46 years old now.
27. Thora Birch, who played Dani in Hocus Pocus. She was 11 years old when the movie came out.
And here she is now. She’s currently 40 years old and does not appear in the 2022 Hocus Pocus 2.
28. Vinessa Shaw, who played Allison in Hocus Pocus. She was 17 years old when the movie came out.
And here she is in 2021. She’s currently 46 years old and does not appear in the 2022 Hocus Pocus 2.
29. And finally, Ty Simpkins, who played Dalton Lambert in the 2010 movie Insidious. He was nine years old when the film came out.
