She went on to describe a time in her life when she was overly polite to men who abused her in one form or another, saying, “One time when I was in a gym, I was being sexually harassed by an old man. He followed me around the gym…and he was taking pictures of me from afar. I did everything within my power so I didn’t have to be mean. I moved. I stood behind people. I fucking cut my workout short.”
“One time I had a man who would not ever leave me alone…even when I told him I lived with my boyfriend, he followed me out to my car and tried to follow me home,” she continued. “The saddest part is that is not the only two times that has happened to me, and I’m not the only person that’s happened to.”
