Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘Raven’s Hallow’ Trailer Sees the Young Writer

On Tuesday, we finally got a good look at The Addams Family in the upcoming Tim Burton-directed, Wednesday. The fam is looking great and right out of a Charles Addams cartoon. Luis Guzman aka Gomez Addams looks like he jumped right off the pages of a Charles Addams doodle in fact. It is either that or Charles saw into the future and drew Luis Guzman. The cast is all in place and revealed… however when asked about Uncle Fester’s casting, showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough got all strange about the question.

“We have no comment on Uncle Fester,” Gough told Vanity Fair. “Watch the show.”

Whoa! Super secrets. That sort of response means there is going to be something all up and rotten in ole’ Denmark. Or, at least some very cool casting news.

I’m sorta thinking of two major possibilities. Speculating of course, but come on lets go on this journey real quick.

‘Teen Wolf’ Spin-Off to Star Sarah Michelle Gellar on Paramount+Trending‘Teen Wolf’ Spin-Off to Star Sarah Michelle Gellar on Paramount+

I think that it is either going to be Christopher Lloyd back playing Uncle Fester once again or… and this is a very real and timely possibility. I think that it could potentially be a total change to Aunt Fester instead of Uncle Fester. I’m imagining, Kathy Bates or Sarah Paulson as Aunt Fester and I wouldn’t be upset at all with casting that great.

The way these guys responded definitely reveals that there is something worthwhile and keeping its lid on tight. I guess we are going to have to wait and see!

The synopsis for Wednesday went like this:

“Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting 16-year-old Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Season One will follow Wednesday as she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.”

The series is made up of 8-episodes and stars Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa and Moosa Mostafa.

Who do you think is going to happen? Think it might be Christopher Lloyd back as Fester? Or, think it might end up being Aunt Fester? Let us know what you think!

Wednesday is headed to Netflix soon. We will keep you updated. Stay tuned.
