Goonies House For Sale

While most people seem to be memeing Twitter into the ground this week Elijah Wood just tweeted something that hit us right in the nostalgia.

Fans of The Goonies will not want to miss this chance to check out the current interiors of the home for themselves. The 1,295 square foot home is being listed for $1.6 Million and was originally built in 1896 and has been wonderfully photographed by RETO Media, a real estate marketing firm in Oregon.

There is an amazing gallery featuring 45 high res images of the property available at the listing including drone photos as well as some drafting layouts of the home. Nothing too out of the norm for a home listing but in this case it’s a rare chance to see an iconic location from a film many people grew up loving.

No word on whether the home comes with undiscovered maps to treasure or other relics of pirate booty but the attic is waiting for new owners to climb up and find out.

As we wait to see how things pan out with Twitter it’s definitely nice to have something like this come across the desk. Think I’ll pop in my copy of The Goonies this weekend and visit the goondocks myself.
