The horror brand’s flagship podcast chats with its namesake in upcoming episode
After over 100 episodes and a roster of guests that includes Guillermo del Toro, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kumail Nanjiani, Mike Flanagan, Bryan Fuller and more, the hosts of FANGORIA’s wildly popular podcast The Kingcast will finally sit down with the very reason for their existence: author Stephen King.
King joins hosts Eric Vespe and Scott Wampler for a deep discussion on his career, which spans six decades and every medium imaginable. For the hosts, King’s appearance is a dream come true. “Obviously, if you’re gonna launch a Stephen King podcast, you’re also hoping that one day you’ll somehow manage to wrangle the man himself on for his very own episode,” says Wampler. “We are honored, thrilled, and enormously grateful that the Master of Horror agreed to spend an hour letting us shotgun questions at him about his ever-expanding body of work, which — as this show has proven time and time again — has been so influential to such a huge percentage of the entertainers, writers and filmmakers we admire. We cannot wait for everyone to hear what we’ve cooked up.”
The Kingcast was named “One of the 5 best podcasts of the year” by Entertainment Weekly when it debuted in 2020, and has since become a destination for horror creators and celebrity fans alike, united in their love of the genre’s greatest living author.
