‘Fear’ Trailer Introduces an Entity That Makes Your Worst Fears

Deon Taylor is severely underrated as a director and producer. His work has been a penchant of horror, thriller and social commentary that is absolutely biting. These have included Fatale, Black and Blue, The Intruder, Traffik, and more. His latest film, Fear takes a group of friends on a vacation who come across an entity that is capable of making your worse fears come true.

Taylor’s work is a tapestry of a throwback to grindhouse thrillers combined with a strong current of the strongest of black filmmaking voices in the 1970s. I’m always on the lookout for what Taylor is up to next.

The synopsis for Fear goes like this:

In this psychological horror film, a group of friends gather for a much-needed weekend getaway at a remote and historic hotel.  Celebration turns into terror as one by one, each guest faces their own worst fear.

The film stars Joseph Sikora Andrew Bachelor, Annie Ilonzeh, Ruby Modine, Iddo Goldberg, Terrence Jenkins, Jessica Allain and TIP “T.I.” HARRIS.

Fear arrives in theaters beginning January 27.
