Kill Her Goats Limited 4K Steelbook Sells Out as Horror

WithAno Productions released a press statement today announcing that they’ve had to push back the release of their upcoming horror tale KILL HER GOATS to April 28, 2023. This is due to selling out of the Limited Edition 4K SteelbookTM before the original release date of March 13th. They’ve been running a pre-order since January when they announced the film and released the trailer. “Truth is, we didn’t know if we could even sell 4,000 Steelbooks,” Writer/Director Steve Wolsh said in the press release.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise with the recent boom in indie horror. Fans have flocked to the growing slew of new titles and creators bringing terrifying tales to the big and small screens. Wolsh, who’s such a big fan of the classics he named the fictional town his films take place in West Craven, has really leaned into that 80s aesthetic much to the delight of the fans. They’ve released multiple sets of Lobby Cards (truly a lost art of film collecting), a ‘wrestling buddy’ style Kane Hodder/Goatface reversible plushie and they ran a successful Kickstarter to release KILL HER GOATS on VHS. All that said, it’s a great time to be a horror fan.

According to the press release, WithAnO Productions is frantically trying to restock their inventory, while adding new options for the 4K, Blu-ray and DVD which will be available to buy at online retailers including Amazon Prime, Walmart, and their website killhergoats.com. They’ve also confirmed the digital release of the film will be available then on Prime Video, APPLE TV, Google, and VUDU/FANDANGO.

If you haven’t joined KILL HER GOATS Mania yet, you can still pre-order the 2-Disc Blu-ray set that features unrated bloopers and a cool high-gloss slipcover featuring some amazing throwback horror art. You can also pick from a few autograph bundles (including Steelbooks signed before they sold out), and other merchandise on their website. Safe to say you’re not going to want to miss this one which one fan on Facebook already said, “it’s going to be a staple for [my] horror movie nights for many years to come.” We agree.

For more updates or to pre-order the Blu-ray and pick up great merchandise (we like the new Premium Sticker Pack with the West Craven Sticker), visit their website at killhergoats.com. The film will officially release all formats and VOD on Friday, April 28th.
