In Michael Dougherty’s 2015 holiday horror Krampus, a dysfunctional family finds themselves the target of the Christmas demon. They realize that they’re trapped in his snowy hell and their neighborhood has become his bloody playground. As Krampus bounds from rooftop to rooftop, you may recognize some familiar houses from horror history. In a brand new interview on the upcoming Krampus: The Naughty Cut, released by Scream Factory, Dougherty teases what these houses could be.

This clip is just a small taste of what’s included in Scream Factory’s release of Krampus: The Naughty Cut. Dougherty supervised this new cut which includes new scenes and uncensored language previously removed to get a PG-13 rating. The entire set contains two discs with both 4k UHD and Blu-ray editions and marks the first time “The Naughty Cut” of the film has been available.

This new Krampus set also comes loaded with bonus features, including new interviews with actors David Koechner, Allison Tolman, and Emjay Anthony; a new interview with WETA’s Richard Taylor; a new interview with producer Todd Casey; and much, much more!

Krampus follows Max, a young boy who’s disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know that this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus—a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.

Krampus: The Naughty Cut releases on December 7, 2021. Pre-order now on Shout Factory’s website.
