Is everyone ready for Halloween to end? The third film of the David Gordon Green trilogy is coming to its end and boy has it taken a while to get here. Halloween Ends is the final tango between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. The end of the brutal trail of slayings that Myers has left in his wake. I have a feeling that at some point down the road Halloween will come back in a different retooled reinvention, but for now this is event horror and I think everyone is pretty dang excited about it.
The synopsis for Halloween Ends goes like this:
After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.
The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards.
Halloween Ends arrives in theaters and streaming on Peacock beginning October 14.
