Otherworldly Horrors Are Just Outside Your Door in ‘The Changed’

Don’t trust thy neighbor.

Tony Todd is back, this time in the extraterrestrial horror film The Changed. Directed by Michael Mongillo, the film is all about isolation, paranoia, and the inability to trust those around you.

Here’s the full synopsis:

Something has taken possession of the hearts and minds of the populace. Kim (Clare Foley), Mac (Jason Alan Smith), and Jane (Carlee Avers) try to convince themselves it’s paranoia, but before long the city is besieged by the changed. By the time they realize an alien intelligence has merged with their neighbor, Bill (Tony Todd), a horde of changed is amassing outside their suburban home.

While the story was hardly original, The Changed still dares to ask the question of whether a life without any form of challenges or hardships is really any kind of life at all. By the time the end credits roll, most of us will be feeling a newfound appreciation of our own existences, and even for the obstacles and occasional dead ends we all inevitably face.

Clare Foley (Sinister) and Jason Alan Smith (Before I Wake) also star in the film.

The Changed hits VOD and theaters on March 4.
