This summer, terror runs deep.
With the forthcoming summer season on the horizon, you can bet the shark content is en route in swarms. The first shark release of the season I’m hyped for is Shark Bait, and it’s got a trailer you’ll definitely want to be pressing play on. Hot young people stranded in the middle of the ocean? Check. Sharks with a lunch resvervtation? Check. Blood-soaked ocean waters? Well, you get the point. Check out the trailer below.
In Shark Bait, a group of spring breakers are enjoying the trip of a lifetime on the sandy beaches of Mexico. As the sun rises after a night of partying, they steal a couple of jet skis and race out to sea. But bravado and bad decisions lead to a terrifying accident. Stranded miles from shore, the true horror begins when the group realizes they’ve drifted into shark-infested waters. With no way back and one friend badly bleeding, the group must quickly figure out how to survive the predator lurking in the waters below.
Shark Bait hails from director James Nunn and stars Nick Saltrese Holly Earl, Jack Trueman, Catherine Hannay, Malachi Pullar-Latchman and Thomas Flynn. The underwater chiller hits theaters and on Digital + On Demand May 13, 2022.

Lastly, are you as into shark movies as I am? And if so, will you be checking out Shark Bait when it’s available on May 13th? Let me know on Twitter via @joshkorngut. I’m legitimately always around to chat all things shark horror!
