Owen Wilson portrays a superpowered dad this week on Paramount+.
On Friday, Aug. 12, the streaming service will add Secret Headquarters to its content. The film stars Owen Wilson and Walker Scobell. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman helmed the direction with a script co-written by Joost, Schulman, and Josh Koenigsberg. It is based on the story from an original screenplay by Thor: Ragnarok‘s Christopher Yost. Joining Wilson are Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Abby James Witherspoon, and Michael Peña. Producers are Bruckheimer Films’ Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman, with Orlee-Rose Strauss and Scott Lumpkin serving as executive producers.
“While hanging out after school, Charlie and his friends discover the headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home. When villains attack, they must team up to defend the headquarters and save the world,” reads the synopsis.

Starting Sunday, Aug. 14, fans who couldn’t attend the South Park The 25th Anniversary Concert will be able to watch it on Paramount+. The concert will go down at the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 13. The event itself features music from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, as well as Primus and Ween, who recorded the theme song for the animated series.
