The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
Emi meets with the boys and Camio at the lighthouse. Camio informs them about Olba’s visit to the demon realm before. After Maou disappeared, the creatures in the demon realm were divided into two factions. Apparently, Camio tried to get both sides to make up but failed. Olba also told the demons there are two Holy Swords. As a result, Camio went to Japan because he was trying to secure the Holy Sword before the revenge faction could.
Shortly after, Emi says a part of the revenge faction is heading for Japan. She tells Maou they need to handle the situation since they’re responsible for it. Suddenly, Urushihara senses a thousand demons coming. Camio tells Maou he should use the sword he brought. Amane shows up with the sword, telling Maou to step up and show how they will handle the predicament. Elsewhere, Suzuno and Chiho are slightly worried. Amane appears, reassuring them she’s not an enemy. Ciriatto, the demon chief, uses a Yesod Fragment to confirm Emi’s identity. Ciriatto and Emi battle.
Suddenly, Maou and the others appear in their true form. Maou confronts Ciriatto. He assures them that he will not punish them and tells Ciriatto to inform the others that he’s alive. Plus, one of the Holy Swords is already in his possession. Lastly, Maou confirms he’s trying to bring peace back to the demon realm while in another world. Shortly after, Maou sends Camio and the revenge faction back to their world.
Because of what happened, Amane reveals the truth behind her customers and what she actually does. After that, the group wanders around Choshi City. Emi asks Maou how he was able to return to his actual form. Apparently, the sword Camio brought with him was made from one of Maou’s horns. Also, a Yesod Fragment was on the scabbard. He hands the fragment to Emi. Emi asks if Maou isn’t worried about her power growing stronger. Finally, Maou says she shouldn’t underestimate him since he’ll take over the whole planet once he gets his full power back. The girls violently react to Maou’s statement.
