Linda Collins is the definition of productivity. A decorated and accomplished actor, producer, and performer, it’s especially inspiring that she’s managed to continue being so prolific during the trying times (and repeated fears of) the ongoing, Covid-19 pandemic.
Presently Ms. Collins’ accomplishments include the vehicle Three for the Road, which she executively produced and had a starring role in, the producorial and starring role in Mary Jane’s Tribulations, and being star and executive producer of Cutter, currently undergoing principal photography. Complete with such productivity is each film garnering respectively an official selection and series of awards at various, nationwide film festivals. This includes Mary Jane’s Tribulations winning official selection at the state of Georgia’s Northeast Mountain Film Festival in November 2021, and another project – Perception – streaming on Amazon Prime’s internet platform and nominating Collins for Best Supporting Actress at the Brightside Tavern Shorts Film Festival. In terms of feature film projects, Collins hasn’t disappointed on that front either. Currently she appears in the noteworthy independent features Dying to Love You and The Stable respectively, the latter produced by production company Twenty First Century Vision Films.
It’s admirable how Ms. Collins manages to stay so productive during a time period where so many, both in professional and personal contexts, are finding themselves continually challenged by the ongoing ramifications of the current political, social, and global unrest earmarked by the continuous traction of the Covid-19 pandemic.

When you look at the end of the year 2021 alone, so many titans in various forms of industry – particularly media, the arts, and various forms of entertainment – have found themselves either accosted by the #MeToo movement, suffering from distinctive emotional and mental health challenges, or have for other reasons to be specified taken a step back from their respective careers. In many ways, Collins represents a new kind of entertainment performer, a decidedly post-pandemic kind of media personality. Her shifting between various artistic mediums, be it actual (short) film, web television, or full-on feature projects, has become something synonymous with modern-day success and continued popularity within the post-modernist entertainment field(s).
Such aforementioned accomplishments compliment Collins’ overall academic trajectories. She’s studied and is a graduate of the institutions University of Alabama, Duquesne University with a BM, summa cum laude, and Northern Illinois University where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, and received a Master of Music degree. Touring the United States and its neighbor to the north, Canada – specifically as musician, Collins subsequently found her true love in the field of performing and acting.
The results of her efforts in the latter field won her coveted roles in respective film and television projects, such as I’d Kill for You, Stalked, Redrum, and Monsters Inside Me. Needless to say, Collins has continued to increase as a notable talent worth watching. It wouldn’t surprise me to see her eventually be in the position of winning the Emmy, let alone a Golden Globe…
