Dungen have announced their first new album since 2015’s Allas Sak. En Är För Mycket och Tusen Aldrig Nog is out October 7 via Mexican Summer. Check out the lead single “Nattens Sista Strimma Ljus” with a video directed by Isidor Xavier Estrada Nyqvist below.

The new album’s title translates to One is Too Much and a Thousand is Never Enough. The album was recorded with producer Mattias Glavå, and Dungen have claimed the new record represents an expansion of their previous sound. “We’d be in [Glavå’s] studio, where he has all this amazing gear, and he’d be encouraging me to go with every weird idea and not to feel any pressure,” singer Gustav Ejstes said in a statement. “He would say, ‘Let’s use this rhythm box or this sample or this loop,’ and I’d be like, ‘can we do that on a Dungen record?’”
