Harry Styles showed up at the 2023 BRIT Awards on Saturday (February 11), performing his single “As It Was” from last year’s Harry’s House. He made use of the extensive stage layout by sprinting around the venue, London’s O2 arena, in a red sequin suit jacket while a live band played behind him on blue risers. Watch it below.

Shortly after taking the stage for his performance, Styles won the 2023 BRIT Award for Best Pop/R&B Act. “As It Was” would go on to win Song of the Year; Harry’s House was named Mastercard Album of the Year, and Styles Artist of the Year. In his acceptance speech for the final award—which featured zero women nominees just one year after merging Best Female Artist of the Year and Best Male Artist of the Year into a single award—he dedicated his win to five British artists who were not nominated. “I’m very aware of my privilege up here tonight, so this award is for Rina [Sawayama], Charli [XCX], Florence [Welch], Mabel, and Becky [Hill],” he said from the podium. Check out the full list of winners here.

Styles appeared at the BRIT Awards less than a week after taking the stage for “As It Was” at the Grammys, where he and his team of dancers encountered unexpected technical difficulties. The set’s central rotating platform apparently began spinning in the wrong direction at the start of the number, disorienting Styles and the other performers. By the end of the evening, he went home happy after winning the Grammy for Album of the Year.
